I hope everyone is enjoying the wintry weather and the beauty (inconvenience ;) ) of the snow! I want to thank all my clients from this season - I truly appreciate your business. I am holding a contest for all clients of the fall season. a whole lot of cuteness! That describes this shoot from yesterday. These little munchkins were so much fun. I trailed them while they explored the grounds of the Adams Mansion. We definitely got some "keepers" - they made it pretty easy for me!

I was really happy when my cousin recently asked me to take pictures of her family. While we had planned to do an out-door shoot, it was just too cold for comfort. Instead we moved it inside. I must say their home made (and smiling faces) for some great pictures. The fire was going, the mantle was decorated, and it felt like Christmas. I really enjoyed this shooot. I had so much fun just capturing them being themselves in the comfort of their own home. The girls were as sweet as they are cute! I think it was a great success. Despite it being a chilly and windy day, we were able to get some great shots. These kids looked adorable in the Christmas attire. After all, it's beginning to look (or feel) a lot like Christmas! They were great. Sometimes 2 year-olds are not the most cooperative subjects, but Jack was an exception.

Today I had the pleasure of taking pictures of Will - he is my youngest cousin. My boys can't quite comprehend how this can be. "Mom, your cousin is younger than me?" Matt's always trying to figure things out!
Cute doesn't even begin to describe Will. He is one of the happiest babies I have ever met and very smart. When I walked in their home, Will was already saying Amy. I think he smiled for the entire morning. I loved the opportunity to visit with him and his mom - it was a very fun morning for me.

Once again the weather cooperated for a wonderful regular photo session with these children. Aren't they cute? Don't let the sweaters fool you - it was a beautiful out!! I love the girls' ponchos - they are beautiful. We had fun playing in the leaves and walking around the farm. I can't wait to see which photo their mom will choose for their cards!

Yesterday was yet another beautiful day for picture taking and of course, I had some adorable subjects. I can't even begin to say how much I like hanging out with children and capturing such happy moments! I never thought I would say this (because I LOVE summer), but I don't want the fall to end. I am enjoying everything about this time of year - I love fall pictures!
If anyone looking for a fall session, I have a morning session available this Saturday. Also, if you are looking for a beach session, I am available for Saturday afternoon at 4:30.

I was able to take LOTS of pictures this weekend. Mattea and Travis were two of my lucky subjects and so very cute. They were lots of fun too. Mattea taught me all about princesses! The colors were gorgeous at this site. We were lucky enough to have all this color with and still beautiful weather.

If anyone is interested in fall foliage pictures, NOW is the time. These colors will make your photos pop! I will be shooting at this location tomorrow. If you are interested email me, and I might be able to fit you in.

Today was another fun shoot with some cute little girls! While I have two boys of my own, it's always fun to hang out with girls. They were great and who would have known that my beanie babies (I am embarassed to confess that I actually collected these before I had children) would actually come in handy some day! Yes - I went up into the attic before I left for the shoot, and through a couple beanie babies in my camera bag. They were just the perfect bribe. =)

A rainbow & a touch of fate....

If I didn't believe in fate before, I surely do now. Recently I met Laura while doing another session on the beach. She was a pleasant on-looker with her beautiful baby girl, while I did my shoot. Afterwards, she asked me for a business card. Ironically she had been been interested in a photographs for her entire family. Well that set everything in motion. We coordinated every one's schedules and came up with the day. That can be difficult when there are many people involved - life gets pretty busy. Today was the day. From the start, although sunny, today was rather windy. The forecast included showers at the time of our scheduled shoot. After several emails, we decided we would try anyway. While it was a bit dark, I hoped the clouds would pass. Everyone arrived at the location, and a rain shower began. Within ten minutes, the storm passed and low and behold, a rainbow appeared. I think fate played a large role in today - it was really meant to be. I don't even know where to begin to say how much of a success this shoot was! Thank you!
